Ask an Expert Forum discussions are organized on topical themes. Discussions are scheduled periodically and during crisis events to provide the public with timely and accurate information on important public safety topics. View the schedule on the right for a list of upcoming topics, dates, and times.
To enter the Ask an Expert Forum, click the link below. You will then be prompted for a user name. Once you have selected a user name and logged in, you will be able to view the current discussion and ask questions of our guest experts.
If you have general questions about security issues or regarding a topic that is not addressed in our upcoming schedule, post your qestion on the SafeTampaBay.org message boards. Our message boards are monitored by local security and public safety experts that would be happy to assist in addressing your concerns.
A note about etiquette
When you first log in, wait a few minutes to allow the current discussion to finish before asking your question. This will allow the discussion to proceed without distracting interruptions or confusing overlapping questions and answers.
The Ask an Expert Forum is designed as a public service of Critical Intervention Services. People who utilize this service are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous manner. Any type of rude statements, inappropriate language, or interruptive comments will not be tolerated and could result in the offender's removal by the discussion moderator.
